The kids have been having a great summer. They have been just hanging out & enjoying not having a real schedule. Lauren failed two classes in school & so has been in summer school everyday from 9-12. For her punishment we are making her walk to & from. It is 1.5 miles each way. She really needed to do this for health reasons anyway, she has recently become extremely overweight. She has always been a little on the heavy side but since puberity hit her weight has spiked. ( BTW, the reason she was punished is because she failed only because she choice to not turn in homework for the majority of the year not because she didnt understand what was being taught) Ryan spends his days out riding his bike with friends, somedays we only see him when he is hungry, lol. He is a good kid & luckily can be trusted to be out around the neiborhood playing. Joshua spends his days playing star wars with his best friend Max, who I am watching this summer. They are fun to watch, always in am imaginary world !! And Linzey spends her days playing Barbie's with her best friend Gabby, who I am also watching this summer. Gabby starts K in the fall & I am afraid Linzey will be lost without her. I have been watching Gabby since she was 6 months old & I will miss her being around everyday also. I will see her on holidays though since I am watching her little sister, Kelsey, who is 7 months old. Jeff has been working hard & doing some golfing on his days off, he also plays softball on Fridays. He has some big upcoming events, his annual golf tournament in Clarence, annual softball tournament in Toronto & annual family Bills game in September. He really looks forward to all three of those things each year & they all come right in a row.
I have been enjoying much more relaxed days with the kids.
Our decision on homeschooling has been made for the upcoming year. Joshua will be homeschooled, Lauren & Ryan will both attend public school by there own choice. Ryan was up in the air for a while but the final choice had to be made by June 30th. Lauren really wanted to be in a public school. I was fine with all of there choices & am pround of them for making a choice & sticking to it.
I dont have alot of pictures to post but will post what I have.
